Tarot
also known as the Tarot, tarocchi
A 78-card deck — 22 Major Arcana plus 56 Minor — used since the 15th century for games and since the 18th for divination. The Major Arcana are read as a sequence of archetypal initiations, mapped to the Tree of Life by occultists and to the unconscious by Jungians.
Italian tarocchi, of disputed origin.
