You arrive as a Wanderer. Everyone here did. Nothing is asked of you, and most of the door is already open.

As Above, so Below: The Mirrored Principle of the Tree of Life
The “Tree of Life” is a visual representation of a cosmic order that serves as a symbol of the connection between Heaven (Macrocosm), Earth (Microcosm) and the Underworld (Prima Materia), as well as of immortality and the awe-inspiring nature of the universe. The question that now remains open, and which is open to many different interpretations, is following: “Why does the divine descent from Kether to Malkuth; from the human perspective, becomes an ascent from grotesque matter to subtle spirit?”

The Pleiades, the Seven Sisters in Taurus and Orion
Their father Atlas was condemned to carry the sky on his shoulders, leaving his daughters defenseless and allowing Orion to pursue them unhindered. It was only through the intervention of Zeus, who - out of pity for the sisters - transformed them, according to one version, first into doves, then into stars, Orion was raised to the heavens and has since pursued the Pleiades across the firmament in the form of a constellation, without ever catching up to them.
Two things open it, and neither of them is a payment.
Reach Adept — this essay asks for more than most — and it opens. Standing comes from reading, drawing and taking part.
An author may give a code for a single essay. Codes are handed out in the common room, by people, to people they have talked to. A code is not enough on its own here — this one asks for Adept as well.
Nearly everything else here is open to anyone, forever, without an account.

Standing is earned by reading, drawing and taking part — never bought. Most of the journal never asks for any of it.

Taking a name costs nothing and hides nothing further. It only means the journal can tell where you left off.
The Forge is the journal’s daily rite — a short set of tasks across mind, body and spirit, marked off each day and kept private to whoever walks it. It is not scored and it raises no rank. It is the practice the essays keep describing, laid out so it can actually be kept.
