Zener
Karl Zener designed these five symbols in the 1930s for J.B. Rhine’s parapsychology lab at Duke. The protocol is simple: a card is drawn at random, you concentrate, then choose. Across enough trials, deviation from 20% becomes statistically meaningful.

About the z-score: Measures how far your hit rate deviates from chance (20%). A z-score ≥ 1.65 indicates above-chance performance (p < 0.05). Run at least 25 trials for meaningful statistics.
